I have also done a full clean install and it still hasn't fixed. I have verified the game cache, deleted both the Paradox Interactive folder and the Steam folder. It may ask you if you want to merge or keep the current list, say yes. When I get into game, the checksum is different.
Then open my extension in the same Cheat Engine instance. Instructions copied from CompactDisc's post:ĭownload the original table from Recifense and open it in cheat engine. Pointers to player country's politics, factions, and military.
#HOI4 CHECKSUM UPGRADE#
Allows tank/air/naval variant upgrade level from 5 to 99 and experience cost always set to 1 The checksum seems to position dependent, as the game declares the file as corrupt when 2 bytes are switched I tried some checksums, and came to the conclusion that it didnt seem to be Sum32, addler32, DJB2 and CRC32, cause none of them seemed to come close to the checksums included in the savegames. Obtains achievements while playing with Not Achievement Compatible(NAC) mods, custom difficulty (Strengthening countries in custom game rules) and custom game rules. Allows console/dev commands in ironman mode. Required Recifense's table for the pointers to work (First post) 1.Hearts of Iron IV v1.8.1 Table Extension= added support for new character model introduced with HOI4 v. added support for even larger files (containing more than 10 million internal elements). There are some other changes introduced since mid-January: As the checksum calculation is based on user ID (such as Steam ID) it cannot be verified by PDXGA without knowing user id. For the “Achievement allowed” please note that this is only a flag in a file – the game itself actually checks if the file has not been modified (checksum checking) before it accepts this flag as a true indicator for achievements being active. Scores below 900 indicate that something probably did not work as intended or the file is some edge case. In practice, the score for the properly parsed files is in the range 990-1000 as the quality evaluation cannot be perfect. Something that is worth trying is going to the base version of the game and making sure you have the correct checksum. Be sure that you and your friend are using the exact same mods. So it depends on the exact version of the game you have and any mods. The parsing quality is a 0 to 1000 number with 1000 indicating that all values currently being parsed out from the file seem to be valid. The checksum is calculated from the game files. File parsing quality indication and Ironman indicatorĪnother change that is visible in the public files section is a visual indication of the quality of parsing done for a particular file (“how good the data is”) and if the file is marked as “Achievement allowed” (AA column). Finally the occupied states are now shown in stripes, similarly to EU4 maps. Also, the way I color maps for manpower has been improved significantly. I have added a new map mode for HOI4 maps showing naval industrial capacity (docks). Keep in mind that wars that already ended are not recorded by the save file, so the casualties do not reflect total casualties from all wars the country has participated in. Details include starting date, number of casualties on both sides, and current score. War ledger for HOI4įor HOI4 files there is now a war ledger available, which shows the ongoing in-game wars. Since my last diary a month ago I’ve been working on the smaller quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and enhancing HOI4 functionality.
